The aim of the Sigma Africa Healthcare project is to make quality, affordable, effective, reliable and sustainable medical supplies available to NGOs, churches and not-for-profit hospitals and health centres in Africa. Alongside our fantastic partner Sigma Pharmaceutical Company, we’re sending medical stock from the UK to Africa to help establish healthcare services in remote villages, ensuring that they have access to essential supplies.

Healthcare for Families

In rural villages, many families fatally suffer from simple but curable diseases due to a lack of access to essential healthcare services. Along with some of our key partners, we are raising money to provide essential healthcare services to those suffering from physical and mental illnesses through health centres such as Loro (to be constructed), Adwir, Alemere, and Abako Elim.

Dental & Oral Healthcare

85% of the population of Northern Uganda relies heavily on ‘traditional dentists’ or self-treatment due to a lack of professional dentistry and equipment which is extremely dangerous. Along with Medical Aid Uganda, we aim to combat oral health problems by establishing mobile and complete dental surgeries and donating dental equipment to private and government facilities, giving many local communities essential access to basic oral health care services.
